All-Electric Diwali Feast with Nilgiri's
Event description
Join us on Wednesday 6 November, 5:30pm-7:00pm, for a delicious, all-electric feast! 🍛🔌🌶️🍴
Bookings essential.
In celebration of Diwali, this workshop will be led by Ajoy, head chef and owner of the award-winning Indian restaurant, Nilgiris. Ajoy made the switch to induction stoves long ago, citing their efficiency and ease of cleaning as some of the few benefits he enjoys.
All food will be prepared using our new portable induction stoves – soon available to borrow from Council – at our corner of the Inner West Sustainability Hub. Come along and learn how induction stoves work and the benefits of transitioning from gas stoves to electric/induction stoves.
Where: Inner West Sustainability Hub - Education Space (towards the back of the site, at the end of the blue pedestrian path, near the garden space.) Address: 7 Prospect Rd, Summer Hill.
Accessibility: If you have any access or support requirements in order to participate fully, please let us know. The site is accessible via paved pathways with a slight slope from street to buildings.
Allergies: All food will be plant based. Please let us know if you have any other dietary requirements or allergies and we will try our best to accommodate you.
