All In: Your Game Plan for LGBTIQA+ Inclusion in Sport
Join Proud 2 Play for All In, a five-part online education series designed to support individuals and community sport & recreation clubs to get started on their journey toward LGBTIQA+ inclusion in sport, movement, and recreation settings.
Held every two weeks from 6 June to 28 July, these interactive 60-minute sessions will help you build the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills needed to create welcoming environments for LGBTIQA+ participants. Whether you’re just getting started or looking to deepen your understanding, each session offers real-world tools and guidance tailored for sport and movement contexts.
You’ll learn about:
- The basics of LGBTIQA+ inclusion and inclusive language
- Supporting trans and gender diverse participants
- What active allyship looks like in sport
- How to respond to discrimination through bystander intervention
- And how Proud 2 Play can support your work on the ground
Session Schedule (All times in AEST)
- June 2nd, 6:00 PM – All In: FREE Online Information Session
- June 16th, 6:00 PM – Introduction to LGBTIQA+ Inclusion in Sport and Movement Settings
- June 30th, 6:00 PM – Trans and Gender Diverse Inclusion in Sport and Movement Settings
- July 14th, 6:00 PM – Being a Good Ally for the LGBTIQA+ Community
- July 28th, 6:00 PM – Bystander Intervention in Sport Settings
Pricing:
The first information session on June 6 is completely free. Each education session is $25 per person, or save with a Full Access Pass for $80 — a 20% discount to attend all five.
