All Night Vigil - Sergei Rachmaninoff

Join LuminaVocal for a rare chance to hear Rachmaninov’s uplifting "All Night Vigil". Directed by guest conductor Alex Roose, Lumina will be augmenting to nearly 40 singers to bring this work to life in all its glory. Our Holy Saturday performance on Saturday 19th April at 9:00PM will include both the Vespers and Matins movements in a late-night performance lasting 90 minutes in the beautiful acoustic of Brougham Place Uniting Church. Don’t miss this Easter treat!
If you can’t make it on Holy Saturday, we will also perform the Vespers - first part of the "All Night Vigil" – as part of a 7:00PM Tenebrae service at St Peter’s Cathedral on Wednesday 16th April, and again during a special 7pm Good Friday Service on Friday 18th April at St John’s Church, 379 Halifax Street Adelaide.
