All Stitched Up - TEENS School Holiday Workshop

Happymess All Stitched Up workshop offers a dynamic and creative experience for ages 10 to 16, running from 10am to 3pm. In the morning, participants will dive into the art of embroidery stitching and learn all the basic stitches needed to create a range of designs.  Using a variety of materials and techniques, including innovative stitching methods, attendees will explore how to integrate texture and colour in unique ways to capture their personal style and identity.

In the afternoon, the focus shifts to  creating their own unique 2D self portrait, allowing each participant to experiment with texture and colour while crafting a stunning, meaningful artwork. By the end of the workshop, everyone will leave with new skills and a take home piece, reflecting both their new skills and artistic creativity. The “All Stitched Up” workshop is all about blending traditional skills with contemporary artistic expression, offering a fresh and engaging way to explore mixed media and embroidery.

Some morning tea provided, but please pack lunch and a water bottle.
