All About Me: Workshop

Our children are so much more than a diagnosis or report. So how do we help others see and support them in the way they truly deserve? 

Join our workshop where you'll create a strengths-based introduction for your child that helps others understand who they really are and how to best support them.

You’ll learn 

• How to recognise and communicate your child’s strengths, interests, and capabilities.  

• To identify what helps your child thrive and the supports that bring out their best. 

• To create (or update) a personalised ‘All About Me’ resource you can share with family, educators, therapists, medical professionals, or community groups. 

Whether you’re starting from scratch or updating an existing profile, you’ll leave with a completed resource ready to share with the important people in your child’s life. 

This is an online workshop 

• Workshops are interactive and may include chat, polls and reflections.   

• You are welcome to participate in ways that feel comfortable for you, including simply listening. 

• You do not need your camera on. 

• For privacy, this session is not recorded. 

Who is this session for 

• This workshop is for parents and carers living in Australia who are raising children with disability, developmental delay, Autism, rare and genetic conditions and high medical needs.   

• This is not for professionals.
