Event description

Do you know that 10% of the population suffers from food allergies and undeclared allergens are the leading cause of food recalls? This makes allergen awareness training a must for food manufacturers! Every employee who handles food should have allergen awareness training to help protect consumers and your business. Allergen management starts with understanding allergens and their impact on at-risk populations. During this short, 2-hour course you'll learn food allergens that cause reactions, the impact allergens have on the allergic population, and the controls you can implement to safeguard against undeclared allergens in your product.
