Allowed to Birth — Community Film Screening & Conversation

Birth is deeply personal—and every family deserves to understand their options, ask questions, and participate fully in their care.

Midwives of New Jersey invites you to a special community screening of Allowed to Birth at AMC East Hanover 12. Together, we’ll watch the film, connect with members of our local birth community, and continue an important conversation about autonomy, informed decision-making, and support in birth.

If theater timing permits, the film will be followed by a brief moderated conversation with members of the Midwives of New Jersey team.

This event is open to everyone. You do not need to be pregnant or an MNJ client to attend. Birth partners, friends, family members, students, birth workers, and healthcare professionals are encouraged to attend! Doors open at 5:30pm, the show starts at 6!
