Join us during Pride Month for our first in person get together for 2021!
UNSW has appointed a new cohort of Diversity Champions for 2021 - 2023 and this time around we are lucky to have four Champions to represent and advocate for the LGBTIQ+ and Ally Network at UNSW:
- Sophia German | PhD Candidate and Research Assistant, School of Biological, Earth and Environmental Sciences
- Professor Lucas Lixinski | Professor, Faculty of Law and Justice
- Dr Éidín Ní Shé | Senior Lecturer, School of Population Health
- Christopher Pearce | Lecturer, Faculty of Law and Justice
As we have not had the chance to meet for such a long time, the first Ally Lunch & Learn will be a mostly informal chance to reconnect with other members of the Network. You will also have the chance to hear a little from Sophia, Lucas and Christopher about why they applied to be a Diversity Champion and what they look forward to being involved in over their two-year term (Éidín sends their apologies and looks forward to meeting you all soon!).
Feel free to bring your lunch with you. All are welcome!
