Understand your broader impact and gain new insights
Altmetrics training is designed to help you utilize Almetric interface, which tracks online engagement, revealing where and how your research is making a difference. This session will demonstrate how to track your publications and gather data about your impact on academia and the broader community. This training will enable you to monitor the influence of your research outputs and effectively showcase their societal impact and understand the full scope of your research influence beyond citations.
The session will cover:
- What Research Impact is, and the different types of impact
- What bibliometrics and altmetrics are, and how to interpret them
- How to locate different metrics to track academic, social and economic impact
