Description

The Aloha Festival is an all-ages festival uniting the community to celebrate surf, music and culture. Inspired by the spirit of ALOHA - with a focus on love, family and friendship. The Festival has the potential to become the largest music festival ever staged on the Northern Beaches, ushering in a new era for the region which is synonymous for live music, surf culture and major events.

Headlined by ARIA-winning rock powerhouse Wolfmother , Australian favourites Ball Park Music and featuring very special guests Yothu Yindi, one of Australia’s most iconic and influential musical acts.

Joining the lineup are Dune Rats, The Terrys, The Beautiful Girls, Mid Drift and The Beefs, delivering a dynamic mix of established festival favourites, indie-rock heavyweights and rising local talent. Together, the lineup promises a full day of live music celebrating the diversity and energy of Australia's music scene.

For the first time ever, the world’s best surf films will hit the big screen on the main stage in between live music sets, curated by the Australian Surf Film Festival:

  • John Florence's Hawaiian Aloha Festival Exclusive

  • Jack Johnson's The September Sessions featuring Kelly Slater, Shane Dorian and Rob Machado (Digitally remastered in 4K to celebrate the 25th Anniversary).

  • Stacy Peralta's The Yin and Yang of Gerry Lopez.

  • George Greenough's 1971 classic ‘Echoes’ (Digitally remastered in 4K - featuring first ever footage shot inside the barrel with a sound track produced by Pink Floyd).

  • Paul Witzig's ‘All Down the Line’ featuring Northern Beaches local, two time world champion Tom Carroll (Digitally remastered in 4K and first premiere since it’s release in 1989).

  • Ritualistic Tendencies featuring Harry Bryant, Noa Deane, Mikey Wright and Mason Ho.

  • Long Reef’s Kobi Clements starring in Unwritten, directed by Joel Barker

More than just a music festival, Aloha is committed to creating a platform for meaningful community impact, championing shark education and ocean safety, First Nations and Hawaiian culture, environmental sustainability and mental wellbeing.

Come for the entertainment. Stay for the connection.
