Alpenphunk is a celebration of music, mountains, and skiing, taking place the last weekend in February. Over the years, it has evolved into Colorado’s premier micro-festival, showcasing world-renowned artists from the funk, reggae, and afro-beat scenes, and more. Each year, we select a new “artist in residence” to curate the weekend, shaping unforgettable, one-of-a-kind collaborations. Centered at the iconic Crested Butte Public House and in partnership with the Crested Butte Center for the Arts, Alpenphunk offers an intimate, immersive experience in the heart of Crested Butte’s vibrant music and mountain culture.
