    Event description

Space Flamingo present Altered. A live recording session where their unplugged set is elevated, refined and recorded. Presenting new compositions and a holographic tapestry of sonic ideas; they invite you to be in the room when it happens. Bring your voice, or simply your presence and lose yourself to the altered.

    Space Flamingo:
With a sound that blends a mayhem of genre, theatrical rock band Space Flamingo invites audiences to an experience. Featuring heavy tones on bass & guitar complimented by punchy drums & shimmering
synths; Space Flamingo are steadily making a mark in the Australian Music Scene. Alongside soaring melodies and deeply woven narratives, the music is paradoxically nostalgic yet new, pushing the boundaries of a typical rock band's proclivity.

    Brendan the Bard:

Brendan is no ivory-tower poet, sculpting sonnets from the air. He is bone and sinew, sweat and ale, a bard born from the belly of the beast. His ballads are birthed in the bellowing laughter and drunken brawls, in the whispered secrets shared beneath a smoke-stained sky. He is the bard of the backstreets, the troubadour of the downtrodden, the echo of a thousand weary hearts.

    Brooke Austen:

Commanding your attention with her intricate storytelling and tender vocal delivery is Brisbane’s Brooke Austen. Her soulful, vocal-led songs weave the sounds of the city in with the feel of a small town, but always leaves you with a warm feeling of home. Compared to artists such as Yebba, Meg Mac, and KT Tunstall, she’ll draw you in and completely captivate you with what she has to say.
