    Event description

!!! HUGS WILL BE REPLACING FEVER PITCH !!!

Welcome to ALTERNATIVE ATTACK #2, hosted by Young Nerve.

Returning to the Mid Mountains Community Centre in Lawson, Alternative Attack #2 is set to be bigger and better than the last! Featuring bands from Wollongong and Sydney, the energy is set to be through the roof from the first band. TELL YOUR FRIENDS!

This ALL AGES event is FOR FANS OF: Alt-rock, Shoegaze, Dream-pop, Emo, Post-hardcore, Grunge, and anything alternative.

Young Nerve understands the frustration of being under 18 and a live music fan. Being 16 and not having $200 to go to Knotfest or Good Things Festival. Seeing your favourite band is on tour, but the show is in the middle of Sydney, your parents won't let you go and tickets cost an arm and a leg. This is why Young Nerve Records was created. TO GIVE THE YOUTH FROM WESTERN SYDNEY TO KATOOMBA THE LIVE MUSIC ATTENTION IT NEEDS FROM ALTERNATIVE ARTISTS.

!! MERCH AND DRINKS WILL BE AVAILABLE ON THE NIGHT, CASH AND CARD ACCEPTED !!

    -----LINE-UP-----

Sun Run will open the night with a post-hardcore/emo influnced rock sound. Come out early to see what they've got.

Hugs is for all the midwest emo fans of the night. Hugs possess a sharp blend of delicately-crafted, beautiful midwest emo and hook-infused, fist-pumping punk rock.

Reddshift are a Sydney/Wollongong based Mathrock band with a mind-bending atmosphere. Reddshift will have you moshing to hardcore-like breakdowns, and trying to keep in time with technical arpeggios.

Brooklyn Comic are set to headline Alt Attack #2 with their blend of hardcore, punk and emo. Inspired by bands such as Movements, Trophy Eyes and Balance and Composure, they will have us all begging for more by the end of the night.
