Alternative Exposure 2025 : In Person Info + Working Session

Interested in applying for an Alternative Exposure grant?

Southern Exposure staff will host a free information and working session to provide more details on the application process, questions of eligibility, appropriate uses of grant funds and more. While attending this info session is encouraged, attendance is NOT required to apply for the Alternative Exposure grant. Come work on your application at the gallery and ask questions regarding your application to SoEx staff who will be there to provide support.

Southern Exposure's Alternative Exposure grant program supports the independent, self-organized work of artists and small groups playing a crucial role within the San Francisco Bay Area arts community. Alternative Exposure provides monetary awards – giving grants of up to $5,000 – to foster the development and presentation of artist-led projects and programs that are accessible and open to the public. This information session at Southern Exposure's gallery will provide application support, information about eligibility requirements, criteria with ample space and time to co-work on the application with the support of SoEx staff.
