Altis presents Securing Student Success using AI

Student retention and success are key challenges for universities focused on successful outcomes for enrolled students.
Working in collaboration with UNSW, Altis successfully operationalised their predictive machine learning model. The model correctly identified 79% of student at risk of failing by the end of term.
By integrating the model into PowerApps and Power BI, Altis enabled real-time data visibility and actionability for academic and support teams.
Altis with UNSW incorporated generative AI components to enhance user interaction, automate insights, and support decision-making workflows. During early-stage implementation, the model delivered weekly prediction accuracy of 61%.
The Academic Success Monitor received the GOLD award in the prestigious international scheme QS Quacquarelli Symonds Reimagine Education Awards 2024 (Oceania Region).
