We are excited to announce the third annual AMA Tasmania | Lexus of Tasmania | Doctors of Tasmania 2025 Golf Day, set to be held at the world-renowned Barnbougle Dunes Golf Club in Bridport on Sunday, 26 October 2025. Rated #2 Golf Course in Australia by Australian Golf Magazine (2013) and #11 in the World by U.S. Golf Digest, The Dunes, with its spectacular vistas of Tasmania’s North East Coast, is a links golf course unlike any other in Australia.

This event presents a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a day on the course with colleagues from around the state. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced golfer, we look forward to welcoming you for a fantastic day of golf and socialising! The event will be an individual stableford event. Don't worry—if you don't have a current Golf Australia handicap, you can still play, but you will be ineligible to win the major trophies. See if you can outplay the Tasmania AMA Branch President!

To make the event more fun, each player will have one mulligan, the option to select one hole to be a bonus double points hole (before teeing off), and there will be special drops (including the Irish Drop, McGlone Drop, Mackie Rule, Shepherd Special, and Siejka Putt Rule). GA handicaps will be slope-adjusted for the course and tees. Play will be from the Terracotta tees, with players having a handicap over 30 having the option to play from the Blue tees, and women’s tees available as well.

* If the winner is not an AMA member, the highest scoring AMA member also gets their name on the Perpetual Trophy
