Event description

The Launceston Chamber of Commerce has celebrated its 175th anniversary marking 175 years of business and industry collaborating as the Chamber. This year, we are looking at the next 25 years of business and industry in Launceston, toward the 200th anniversary of the Launceston Chamber.  We will bring to our members, Launceston 2050.

Brought to you by Event Partner, Launtel, Launceston 2050 will include a range of events, and will be launched by a Keynote with Amanda Johnstone.

As one of Australia's most globally acknowledged AI technologists and technology communicators, Amanda's contributions have been celebrated by TIME as a Next Generation Leader and by The CEO Magazine with the Start-up Executive of the Year award, underscoring her significant impact in social impact technology.

In 2023, LinkedIn awarded her as a Top Voice in Artificial Intelligence, one of only 1500 top voices globally of over 1 billion users.

This is a unique opportunity for Launceston Chamber members to hear Amanda's very practical, and real view of the future of tech for us all.
