Our theme this time is Magic and Mystery in the classical and instrumental music world...

Perhaps the Sorcerer's apprentice, with wonderful themes of power, control and sorcery...

Maybe Hedwig will fly in for the evening?

Will we have romance from Debussy,

Or the shifting illusions of Glass's repeated repetitions ???

Hildegard's mysticism,

or the wizardry of the jazz greats...

Who knows? We never do!

These evenings depend on the generosity of the players that come out of our Green Cauldron, and music enthusiasts to support them.

And it's magic.

These 6-monthly gatherings, provide a supportive performance space for adult and late-highschool practising musicians, and a place for music enthusiasts to connect. The evening is geared to classical, instrumental and world music, with a little modern. Fostering community is key to ongoing engagement with music (or any of the arts) throughout the lifespan. 

All performers and audience pay $10, preferably online. 
This allows us to hire the beautiful space (at a subsidised rate), the PA equipment and the sound technician,  and to provide a professional and refined experience for all. 

The doors and licenced bar will be open from 5pm, performances to commence at 6pm.
