Amateur Music Eve

What music do you associate with stars? What images, sounds or colours are conjured up when you think about this word? Do you know any classical works inspired by stars? Astronomy, astrology, galaxies, a starry night, birth of a star, death of a star, stars at war?! Stars of the music world, of composition, of sound - the interpretation is yours.
 
These 6-monthly gatherings, provide a supportive performance space for adult and late-highschool practising musicians, and a place for music enthusiasts to connect. The evening is geared to classical, instrumental and world music, with a little modern. Fostering community is key to ongoing engagement with music (or any of the arts) throughout the lifespan. 

All performers and audience pay $10, preferably online. 
This allows us to hire the beautiful space (at a subsidised rate), the PA equipment and the sound technician,  and to provide a professional and refined experience for all. 

The doors and licenced bar will be open from 5pm, performances to commence at 6pm. 
Please support The Citadel by leaving your own drinks at home, and purchasing drinks from the bar.
