What is ‘Amateurs’ about?

When an underfunded amateur theatre company in Melbourne sets out to stage an ambitious original production, their budget disasters, clashing egos, backstage chaos and a profound lack of talent, threaten to bring the whole thing down before opening night. Follow the hilarious journey of every awkward audition, disastrous rehearsal, and off-stage drama as this misfit troupe fights to keep the theatre company from going under.
