Amble Hike Club - Cape Schanck

Come hike with Amble at our next in person event 🙌

We're heading off on a hike along the Two Bays Walking Track, from the Cape Schanck lighthouse to Bushrangers Bay, on the Mornington Peninsula (about 1-1.15hr drive) and would love to see you there! 

Distance: 7km, on an intermediate track, including some uphill. This should take about 2hrs pending on our pace, but don't worry about walking slow or fast, we'll have someone at the front and back to ensure everyone's comfortable

Location: Cape Schanck Lighthouse Reserve Carpark. The trail is an out and back, so we'll start and finish in the same place. Pre registering is essential, to ensure we stick to a small group, and don't have any unnecessary environmental impact by being a larger group on a small trail

Timing: 9.20am arrival

Wear: Anything that's comfortable for a walk, highly recommend runners or hiking boots

Bring: Water, a hat, maybe a raincoat pending on the weather. Unfortunately no dogs are allowed on this trail.

Fitness: Beginner friendly, no hiking experience required :) 

Weather: This event will go on in all weather, unless there are thunderstorms forecast which will force us to cancel

Price: $5 per person, this will be donated entirely to charity. Please email us if the cost is a barrier to coming and we'll reserve a spot for you

Carpooling: We highly encourage carpooling and will be connecting people to do so. Please let us know if you have free seats in your car, or if you'd like to carpool and we'll connect you to someone nearby as best we can.
