Amerikiwi Mourning Circle
Event description
Hello everyone! We have been feeling again a need for mourning together in community, given what we read in the news. Having heard that our previous Ameri-Kiwi Mourning Circle was meaningful, we offer it again. This is an opportunity to come together, share from the heart, listen with empathy, and express/witness grief (which can sometimes look like dismay, anger, anxiety, and shock). Valerie Wycoff and Jean McElhaney will facilitate three monthly zoom calls. Dates: Sunday 16 February at 7:00 pm NZ, 16 March, and 27 April. You are welcome to come to one, two, or all three. To participate, please fill out the registration form here. Please feel free to share with other Ameri-Kiwi friends and colleagues. Zoom link will be provided upon registration.
Note: Flexible price tickets will go towards our facilitation ($0 and upwards).
In addition, we invite donations towards Democracy Now, an independent news provider, which is audience-supported. This means that their editorial independence is never compromised by corporate or government interests. Since its founding in 1996, Democracy Now! has held steadfast to a policy of not accepting government funding, corporate sponsorship, underwriting or advertising revenue.
