Description

On behalf of AMPARO Advocacy’s CEO, we are delighted to invite you to the official launch of our Framework for culturally safe, accessible engagement with people from diverse cultural and language backgrounds with disability and families” (CALD Engagement Framework).

The Framework provides a practical, ready-to-use framework for multi-sectoral government agencies, service providers, and community organisations to plan and deliver engagement to people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds with disability that is accessible, culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and accountable.

The Framework has been co-designed with people from CALD backgrounds with disability and family members, alongside AMPARO Advocacy's CALD Inclusion Consultants and Inclusive Leadership Network.

It has been developed for use by government agencies, non-government organisations, service providers and community organisations, to support respectful, inclusive and effective engagement with people from CALD backgrounds with disability and their families.
