Amplify Street Party is bringing live music, markets and more to Mount Barker Town Hall on Friday 2 October. If you’re 16–25, grab your friends and come along!
Headlining is Sunsick Daisy, fresh from supporting The Temper Trap at their Adelaide show. Expect dreamy indie rock, big guitars and songs you’ll want to hear live.
They’ll be joined by Stormy-Lou, bringing pop-punk energy; Close Friends, with their rich harmonies and heartfelt indie folk pop; and Outlie. Four acts, plenty to discover, and free entry.
Between sets, explore the market stalls, catch some live poetry and grab a bite to eat. There’ll also be food and drink specials at the nearby pub. Come for your favourite band or make a whole night of it!

Sunsick Daisy
Formed at a MusicSA songwriting workshop in 2021, Adelaide band Sunsick Daisy have grown from school holiday collaborators into one of the city’s exciting young live acts. Their mix of shoegaze, dream pop and indie rock pairs Sarah Grainger’s vocals with hazy guitars and big, atmospheric sound. Their debut single *Someone Like You* made them finalists in triple j’s 2022 Unearthed High competition. Since then, they’ve released two EPs, played headline shows and shared stages with acts including Ball Park Music and Teenage Joans. Most recently, they supported The Temper Trap at Adelaide’s Hindley Street Music Hall. Now they’re heading to Mount Barker to headline Amplify Street Party.
Stormy-Lou
Stormy-Lou are a five-piece from Adelaide bringing pop-punk hooks, punchy guitars and plenty of personality to the stage. Their songs pair honest writing with the kind of energy that makes you want to move closer to the front. After releasing their debut EP *See Ya, Love Ya, Bye!* in 2025, the band kicked off a new chapter this year with singles *Watching & Waiting* and *OLDER*. They’ve been playing shows across South Australia and beyond, and they’re bringing that live energy to Amplify Street Party.
Close Friends
Close Friends are an Adelaide band making indie folk pop built around rich harmonies and heartfelt stories. Drawing on their experiences as queer and neurodivergent people, their songs explore friendship, love and all the complicated bits in between. The seven-piece released their debut singles *Magpie* and *Follow (Where You Go)* this year, introducing a sound that feels warm, thoughtful and made to be shared. Come meet your new favourite band at Amplify Street Party.
Outlie
Outlie are an emerging three-piece indie rock band from Adelaide, writing and playing their own music. They’re building their place in the local live music scene, with recent shows in Adelaide and new songs they’re keen to share. Amplify Street Party is a chance to catch them live in Mount Barker and discover a new band from just down the road.
