Amplify Youth Forum

According to the Wellbeing and Engagement Collection (2025) students in years 7 to12 reported medium to low wellbeing in the areas of resilience (coping skills), emotional regulation and wellbeing literacy. As a cost-free mental health service for young people, it is headspace’s remit to be responsive to the needs of young people in our community.

We have partnered with Mount Barker District Council, Alexandrina Council, Mission Australia, Mount Barker Community Centre, and an incredible team of young people to bring you a one-day wellbeing forum aimed at increasing the skills and resilience of young people in our community while learning what more we can be doing to support the wellbeing of local young people.

We would like to invite 20 young people 12 to 17 years old from each of our local schools. We would love to extend that invitation to the homeschool community from Adelade Hills, Strathalbyn, and Mount Barker.
