Event description

AMSA WA is proud to announce that we will once again be holding our annual Student Workshop on Rottnest Island!

This event is specifically for students, organised by students!

                                                                                         EVENT DETAILS

Over the three-day event, students will enjoy icebreakers and skills workshops run by the AMSA WA Student representatives.

Then, the informal “student only” sessions provide an opportunity for all students to share their research in the form of 3 or 15-minute talks, hear from their peers at other universities, exchange ideas and receive friendly feedback (as well as prizes for the Best Talks).

There is also an opportunity to be inspired and discover the diverse career journeys of senior researchers and industry professionals, including an opportunity to network.

Both the student-only seminars and guest speaker talks will be held at the Rottnest Island Golf Club.

A full, detailed schedule will be released closer to the event date.

At checkout, information such as name, institution, abstract, etc, will be requested - you will be given the opportunity to update these closer to the event if needed.
