Event description

Join Allison Davies and the Tasmanian branch of the Australian Music Therapy Association as we discuss the importance of the Critical Disability Theory within a medical dominant industry.

We will discuss ableism, both internalised and externalised, medical gaslighting and the impact this can have on clients capacity to seek allied health support, and the ways in which NDIS can negatively impact the lives of clients. We will also discuss the importance of centring music therapy work within trauma informed practices whilst maintaining a deep sense of inclusion.

This webinar will be followed by a Question and Answer session.

We would love to see you there!
