Event description

In our fast-paced and hectic lives, finding moments of inner peace has become a necessity. Take time for yourself and join us for a memorable afternoon that promises to provide such solace through a combination of a Kundalini Breath Walk in Nature followed by Candlelight Restorative Yoga. The winter landscapes offer unique beauty that cannot be experienced during other seasons. The serene stillness of snow-covered trees creates a sense of tranquility that allows us to connect with ourselves on a deeper level.

We will begin our afternoon gathering at our bonfire with an introduction to Kundalini breathwork and intention setting. Then, we will begin our guided Kundalini breath walk, allowing you to connect with Mother Earth while engaging in rhythmic breathing exercises. Walking amidst nature not only rejuvenates the body but also calms the mind. The deep breathing techniques during this walk help release stress and tension, promoting mental clarity and focus. The crisp winter air invigorates our senses, awakening us to the beauty of the world around us. By combining this with Kundalini breathwork, we can tap into our inner energy and unlock a deeper connection with ourselves and nature.

Following our walk, you will be led into a serene candlelit room for Restorative yoga. Restorative yoga focuses on deep relaxation and gentle stretching, allowing our bodies to release tension and stress. The use of props such as blankets, bolsters, and blocks helps support the body in various poses, promoting a sense of comfort and ease. In a candlelit room, the soft glow creates an ambiance that encourages tranquility and introspection, while the soft music further enhances relaxation.

We will close our time together in Circle with a specially prepared herbal tea and special gift to remind you of our time together.

This afternoon is an ideal way to find solace amidst our chaotic lives. We offer a unique opportunity to connect with nature while practicing mindfulness and relaxation techniques. So why not embrace this peaceful sanctuary during winter? Give yourself permission to unwind, restore your energy levels, and embark on this journey towards inner peace.

Kristina Giliberto, Restorative Yoga Guide

Kristina is a yoga teacher (200 RYT, Restorative, Yoga4Cancer, Functional Anatomy), PATH, Int’l certified Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning, and writer. As a devotee of yoga for over two decades, Kristina fully embraces how her practice has changed and evolved over the years to flow with the seasons of her life. One of her greatest joys is sharing a passion for Restorative Yoga, a respite from our stress-filled world. With Kristina’s guidance, each yogi is supported with props such as blankets, bolsters, and blocks to invite in stillness and deep relaxation. Restorative Yoga is a practice of being, rather than doing… a calming and balancing of breath, body, and mind.
