An Educators role in supporting children's transition to school
Description
An Educators role in supporting children's transition to school.
This is part 2 in the series of school transition workshops presented by Angela and Donna from Back on Track Early Childhood Professionals.
As a team we have been delivering school transition workshops for 12 years.
All the information, tips and strategies shared are tried and tested and implemented by us in the classroom for many decades.
This session will focus on your role in the classroom to best prepare every child in your care for the most successful and confident start to school.
We will take you back to basics and discuss
Building independence through everyday activities
How to encourage resilience and self esteem in every child
Best set up in the classroom to assist your children to thrive
How to communicate with families and guide them through the transition
The importance of building strong relationships with your local schools and community
Unpack and simplify the transition to school statement and make the most of this communication with the school.
The workshop is delivered using a PowerPoint presentation with Angela and Donna guiding you through the information.
There will be opportunities to ask individual questions throughout the workshop and communicate any concerns you may be experiencing in your classroom.
A recording of the session will be available on playback for 7 days after the live presentation.
Thank you for joining our online community.
Angela and Donna
Please note you do not need to have attended part 1 to complete part 2, both workshops are valuable on their own.
