An Evening of Art & Sound
Description
An Evening of Art & Sound
Join Georgie from Eco Movement WA and Mellina from ArtiSea for a two-hour immersive experience bringing together sound, gentle movement and art.
This evening is an invitation to take time for yourself, to find the joy in creating, all while relaxing and resetting your nervous system.
Our offering to you:
Sound ~ We will begin with Georgie guiding you through the sounds of crystal bowls and other soothing instruments, to help you ground and arrive in the space.
Art ~ Throughout the evening Mellina will lead you through a series of simple, intuitive creative practices using acrylic colours, organic shapes and playful mark-making. Inspired by the rhythms of nature and the freedom of childhood creativity, you'll be encouraged to experiment, follow your curiosity and allow the process to unfold without worrying about the finished result.
Gentle Movement ~ During the evening, we will take moments of movement to allow you to reset and centre between being guided through your intuitive art practices.
Sound ~ We will conclude our time together with a final sound bath, to help send you off into the rest of your week feeling calm and replenished.
There is no need for artistic experience or any expectation to create something particular. This is about letting go of the pressure to get things right, enjoying the feeling of colour moving across a page and rediscovering the freedom of making something for yourself.
