An Evening with Dave Kramer: Violence prevention and education
Event description
Emus and Orange City have a lot in common. One of those things is our commitment to create safe spaces to have important conversations, another is our zero tolerance attitude toward domestic and family violence.
In a joint initiative, and with the support of Orange City Council, weโre bringing those together and inviting everyone to An Evening With Dave Kramer, a free event to discuss how we can help build and foster a culture of safety and respect in our community.
Dave is a Behavioural Scientist and since the death of his best friend, Hannah Clarke, and her three children in 2020, he has dedicated his life to empowering people across Australia to help contribute to community safety.
Through initiatives like the HALT Program and Small Steps 4 Hannah, Dave brings communities together to discuss critical issues like masculinity, gender-based violence prevention, and building respectful relationships.
Like Dave, we encourage our entire community to take any and all steps to help build that safe, respectful culture, by joining the conversation at the Orange Civic Theatre at 6.30pm on Wednesday, 9 April.
