An Evening With Larry Blair: What is the energy future for our catchment areas?
Event description
Come along for a good yarn and a thought-provoking evening as we dig into the biophysical realities of New Zealand’s energy future. We’ll be looking at the big picture — and what it all means for our catchment and the farming families who call it home.
We’re stoked to welcome Larry — a local lad who’s now in hot demand right across Australasia. He’s known for his solid technical knowledge, no-nonsense approach, and ability to explain the tricky stuff in a way that makes sense. Larry’s passionate about creating an energy future that’s reliable, affordable, and works for everyday New Zealanders.
Thanks to the Good Farm Planning Hub we are able to bring this event to you at no charge!
He also writes the New Zealand Energy Blog (worth a squiz!) https://newzealandenergy.substack.com/ where he tackles all sorts of energy topics, breaks down complex policy changes, and helps us make sense of how it all affects life on the land.
Who should attend?
Farmers, landowners, lifestyle blockers, and anyone keen to understand where our energy’s heading and what it means for life on the land. If you use power — this talk’s for you.
