An Evening with Ray Harris & Special Guest
Event description
After a seven-year hiatus, award-winning music maestro Ray Harris is set to make a triumphant return to the stage with a massive comeback gig at Drygate, Glasgow, on Saturday, 8th November 2025.
This marks Harris’s first live performance in seven years and celebrates a bold new chapter with the release of his highly anticipated fifth studio album, Prelude (out November 2025), following the critically acclaimed Propaganda (2017).
Widely recognised for his electrifying live shows and distinctive sound, Ray Harris boasts an impressive legacy. Over the years, he has shared the stage with legends including James Brown, Sister Sledge, Nile Rodgers, Chic, and the Average White Band.
Between 2008 and 2018, Harris built a strong international following, releasing music in Europe, Korea, Indonesia, and Japan, further cementing his reputation for creating emotionally rich, genre-defying music. His extensive touring across Southeast Asia in the mid-2010s earned him critical acclaim, an international fanbase and solidifying his reputation as a global musical artist.
The Drygate show promises to be a powerful celebration of Harris’s musical journey — past, present, and future. Expect a performance that reaffirms his place as a dynamic and authentic musical voice.
“This isn’t just a return — it’s a continuation of the journey,” says Harris. “The sound on the new album may have evolved, but the essence remains.”
