Description
An Evening with the Harp is an intimate concert with Malobi Elueme, featuring original music alongside jazz, indie folk, R&B, and Afrobeat covers, all reimagined through the harp and her signature vocals.
Born in Lagos and shaped by years in Alberta and Newfoundland, Malobi, carries several musical traditions with her. A vocalist, harpist, pianist, and theatre performer, she has performed in festivals, musicals, and live music spaces across Canada and Nigeria, most recently featured as an Airwave YGK Musician in Residence.
For one evening, Malobi invites you into a warm, intimate space to slow down and listen. Expect to be transported with familiar songs in unexpected arrangements, original music, rich vocals, and the gentle, surprising sound of the harp.
