Event description

Mingle with astronomers and gaze through Mt Stromlo’s outreach telescopes. Discuss astronomy & astrophysics, planetary science & cosmology and instrumentation to theory… or just look at the pretty patterns the stars make.

Zonta’s Women in Astronomy Scholarship recipients Radhika Chirakkara  will talk on her PHD thesis which focuses on magnetic fields in galaxy clusters.

Time: 6.00pm to 9.00pm

Venue: ANU Research School of Astronomy and Astrophysics,

        Mount Stromlo Observatory, Cotter Road, Weston Creek

A light supper will be provided
