Join us for an engaging CPD dinner focused on the latest approaches to managing ADHD and OCD, with an introduction to the evolving role of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) in mental health care. Through expert-led case discussions and practical insights, this interactive evening will equip GPs with valuable strategies to support patients, navigate referral pathways, and stay up to date with emerging treatment options in psychiatric care.
Learning outcomes
Describe the GPs role in supporting patients with treatment resistant depression who undertake Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, including shared care management and the referral process.
Identify early signs of OCD in patients presenting with anxiety symptoms and provide advice about treatment options, interventions and referral to mental health practitioner where relevant.
Discuss the benefits of treatment plans for patients with ADHD that include relevant pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions.
This CPD activity is approved by the RACGP for 2.0 CPD Educational Activity (EA) hours, 3.0 CPD Reviewing Performance (RP) 5.0 CPD Measuring Outcomes (MO) hours.
