Experience our introductory workshop providing foundational knowledge level understanding of Women’s Health and Wellbeing work
This 3-part training series provides participants with foundational level understanding of Women's Health and Wellbeing work. This knowledge will be helpful for anyone interested in entering the Women's Health and Wellbeing sector, new to Women's Health and Wellbeing work or those who interact with Women's Health and Wellbeing victims/ survivors in their everyday work.
This program has been developed with insights from the women’s health and wellbeing, sexual violence, and domestic and family violence sector in Queensland.
Workshop and resource materials will cover:
- Myths about Women’s Health and Wellbeing
- Building blocks for Women’s Health and Wellbeing workers starting in the sector
- Essential legal information/contact organisations
- Understanding how Women's Health and Wellbeing work intersects with DFV and Sexual Violence services
- Self-Care for Practitioners
- Trauma-Informed Practice and Recovery Work
- Intersectional Considerations
