An election is coming...but what does that mean? Who are you electing? What are the houses of Parliament, and why are there so many Senators?
Join Raise Our Voice Australia, in partnership with The Body Shop ANZ, to run through the basics of Australia's political system.
The will run through:
- the foundations of our political system
- the responsibilities of State and Federal Government (local government will not be covered in detail)
- the Houses of Parliament
- the roles of MPs and Senators
- how you can make change!
No prior knowledge is required! Bring your dinner and bring a friend.
