Event description

We’re thrilled to bring bonsai to The Curious Rabbit on March 19th! The Wagga Wagga Bonsai Society has carefully selected pre-bonsai Shimpaku Junipers and beautifully crafted pots for the occasion – it’s going to be an incredible night.

We will begin with an introduction to the traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony. This traditional practice is a symbol of harmony, respect, purity, and tranquility, reflecting the values that underpin both Japanese culture and the art of bonsai. The ceremony provides a moment of mindfulness and appreciation, preparing participants to engage fully in the bonsai experience. After the tea ceremony, we’ll move to the bonsai preparation stations, where everyone will listen, learn, and craft their very own ‘Mr. Miyagi’ (Karate Kid-style!) bonsai to take home.

Each participant will receive:

Three free visits to our club meetings for ongoing support
A 10% discount voucher for Gummly Gummly Nursery
A hands-on bonsai experience guided by our club members

Strictly limited numbers please book early to avoid disappointment
