Description

The NDIA is hosting a series of webinars to provide detailed information about changes introduced through the National Disability Insurance Scheme Amendment (Securing the NDIS for Future Generations) Bill 2026.

These webinars are designed for participants, families, carers and kin who want to better understand how the changes may affect their interaction with the NDIS.

The sessions will focus on practical information and explain what the changes mean for participants both now and into the future.

Topics may include:

  • changes to plan reassessments

  • support determinations

  • how decisions may be made under the updated legislation

  • where to access information, guidance and support.

What can you expect to hear?

  • Presentations are developed using publicly available NDIA resources, including information from the NDIS website and operational guidelines.

  • The session brings together key information and explains it in an accessible and interactive format.

  • This session will provide a summary of the changes. Some changes to the scheme will take time and the detail of what these changes will look like have not been decided.

  • An estimated timeline of the proposed changes will be provided in the presentation.
