Harbourside at the Rebel Theatre, award-winning vocal group Soulfood decks the hemispheres with a snow-dusted, sun-drenched Upside-Down Christmas.
Christmas in Sydney is gloriously topsy-turvy – snow songs in summer, sleighs and snowmen on parched lawns, and turkeys roasting in 40-degree heat.
This year, Soulfood a Cappella embraces the absurdity. Think White Christmas in a heatwave, Let It Snow under blue skies, and Sleigh Ride through a sea breeze – plus Santa tunes and timeless carols like O Holy Night and Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.
Conducted by Melissa Kenny and joined by the brilliant Bill Risby on keys, this family-friendly concert will have you humming carols, wanting to build a snowman, and put chestnuts on an open fire.
