ANALOGUE a book club at KXT
Event description
This is IRL not URL
Join us for robust discussions, yummy snacks and vibrant storytelling at Analogue. We’re coming together to tumble into the world on the page on the stage at KXT: Kings Cross. Each month club facilitator REBEKAH ROBERTSON will guide us through some screen free fun times.
First up: we’re reading This Mournable Body by Tsitsi Dangarembga. Dr Tsitsi is widely considered one of the most significant contemporary English language writers and filmmakers of Southern Africa. Her writing is keen observations and sharp wit, with structure and style informed by her mastery of European and African cinema. Playwrights take note of her stellar dialogue.
Early Bird bookings receive all the inside info on the best places to pick up a copy of the book from host Rebekah Robertson incl a list of libraries carrying IRL and ebook copies.
BUSY?? You don’t have to finish the book to come along, participate and enjoy. Honestly, your host is a slow reader so…
