Venue & Schedule

Friday, April 4 from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm Anam Thubten will give a public talk in Sun Valley at the St Thomas Episcopal Church, 201 Sun Valley Road, Sun Valley, Idaho. Everyone is welcome to join. Please plan to arrive between 6:30 and 6:45 pm to check-in and get settled before Anam Thubten begins his talk at 7:00 pm. A donation of $15 - $20 is suggested and no one will be turned away for lack of funds.

Saturday, April 5 & Sunday, April 6 will be the two-day meditation retreat held in Hailey at The Sage School, 1810 Quigley Farm Road, Hailey, Idaho. There is ample and free on-site parking. Local restaurants, coffee shops, and accommodations are within a short driving distance.

The retreat will begin each day at 10 am and end around 5 pm. Please plan to arrive around 9:30 am each morning to check-in and get settled before Anam Thubten arrives at 10:00 am.

There is usually a 15-minute morning and afternoon break as well as a 90-minute lunch break. Seating will be available either in chairs or on the floor. If you want to sit on the floor, please be sure to bring your own mat and/or cushion. There are a few sets of mats and cushions we can provide to those traveling in from out of town. Please contact Mary Ann to make this request.

Tea and light snacks will be provided. Please consider bringing your own lunch if you’d like to enjoy the beautiful environment. Indoor and outdoor seating for lunch is ample.

Retreat Commitment

We ask that you commit to participation in the full retreat from beginning to end. There are a couple of reasons why this is important. A meditation retreat is a process of transformation. Everyone is asked to make a sacred commitment to stay for the whole retreat, trusting in this process. Once a retreat begins, a sacred container is formed, made up of each person's good intentions to be fully present. Our mutual presence supports each other.

Lodging

There are a variety of hotels and Airbnb’s to explore in Hailey, many within a 10 minute drive to the retreat venue at The Sage School. If you prefer to walk, you may want explore Airbnb's and The Hailey Airport Way which could be approximately a 20-30 minute walk depending, to the retreat. There are also many hotels in Sun Valley/Ketchum area and a couple in Bellevue. We have noticed the Bellevue hotels are offering more affordable nightly rates than Hailey, Sun Valley or Ketchum.

Cancellations

Refunds are available up to 7 days prior to the retreat (excluding Humantix fees) by using the Manage Order button on the Humantix ticket order email you received. If you need assistance or must cancel due to illness or extenuating circumstances contact Mary Ann Chubb at m80@cox.net.
