Event description

Ancestral Echoes – A Voice Activation Journey

We are here to re-member—to gather the forgotten parts of ourselves, to honour the dance of masculine and feminine energies, and to acknowledge the two spirits that exist within and without.

This is a journey into the depths of inner child healing, vocal expression, and animal medicine—a return to the raw power of our roots, our origin, and our true essence. Through voice, movement, and deep listening, we will awaken the ancient echoes that live within us.

Let us harmonise structure and flow, embracing the dance between two worlds. The known and the unknown. The seen and the unseen. The voice and the silence.

This is more than a workshop—it is a merging of ancestral wisdom, voice ceremony, and mind-body connection. A space to listen, learn, embody.

A return to the circle.

A place where healing is witnessed and felt, side by side. Where we first see ourselves and then see one another.

🔹 Aroha & Joydah – Wisdom keepers and facilitators, walking with the knowledge of their Māori and Igorot Filipino ancestors, guiding meditations, sound healing, and feminine-led circles to harmonise the energies within.

🔹 Joseph – Wayfinder, Vocal Alchemist & Ritual Facilitator, guiding inner child healing, animal medicine, and masuline-led circles to support deep transformation and integration.

Aroha & Joydah – Wisdom Keepers & Facilitators

Journeying from Aotearoa, Aroha and Joydah bring the sacred medicine of their Māori and Igorot Filipino ancestors to the red lands.

🔹 Joydah’s lineage traces back to the northern mountains of the Philippines, belonging to the Ibaloi tribe, with Spanish and Japanese ancestry woven through her blood.

🔹 Aroha’s roots are deeply embedded in the lands of Aotearoa, belonging to the tribes of Ngāti Rangiwewehi & Ngāi Tamanuhiri, carrying Māori, English, and Scottish ancestry.

Both walk in deep reverence for their ancestors, the waters, the land, and all creatures of the earth. They hold space with devotion, honouring the sacred balance of masculine and feminine energies through breath, sound, and ceremony.

At Ancestral Echoes, Aroha and Joydah will guide meditations, vocal activation, and feminine-led circles, supporting participants in harmonising the energies within.

Joseph – Wayfinder, Vocal Alchemist & Ritual Facilitator

Joseph walks the path of transformation, integration, and self-expression, guiding others to reconnect with their voice, body, and ancestral wisdom. As a Wayfinder, he helps people navigate their healing journeys, weaving together inner child work, vocal activation, and the sacred balance of masculine and feminine energies.

With a background in breathwork, sound, embodiment practices, and ritual, Joseph holds space for deep integration—where healing becomes something lived, not just experienced. Through men’s work, ancestral connection, and ceremony, he supports individuals in reclaiming their voice and stepping into their fullest expression.

At Ancestral Echoes, Joseph will lead inner child healing, animal medicine, and masculine-led circles, bridging the ancient with the present and guiding participants into deeper harmony within themselves.

🔹 "Our voices are the echoes of those who came before us—let us honour them and walk forward in harmony."
