The artists will share a blend of solo works and collaborative creations, offering a glimpse into their unique musical paths and the stories behind their songs. It will be an unforgettable and heartfelt night of music that will highlight their journeys both together and apart.
Angela Rose
Angela Rose is an independent artist and songwriter from Newcastle, NSW. With a rich and soothing sound that blends elements of pop and alt-country, along with heart-on-sleeve storytelling, Angela Rose creates her own brand of instantly memorable indie pop music.
Angela Rose was recently hand-picked by Australian music icons Angus & Julia Stone for the Wild Turkey Music 101 Mentorship Program 2024, with Angus & Julia Stone commending Angela Rose’s individual artistry and captivating lyricism.
2023 was also a turbulent year for Angela Rose, with her debut EP ‘Late Bloomer’ gracing the airwaves. This project was written by Angela Rose and produced by Jack Nigro at Sonora Studios. Angela Rose was also a winner of the 2023 Triple J Unearthed x NIDA music video competition for the EP title track ‘Late Bloomer’.
Angela Rose has supported some incredible artists in the Australian music landscape, such as Angus & Julia Stone, Gretta Ray, Mia Wray, Dulcie, Greta Stanley, Hollie Col, & Imogen Clark.
Saralyn
Saralyn is a singer-songwriter from the Hunter Valley, NSW, Australia, known for her soulful sound influenced by legends like Stevie Nicks, Lainey Wilson, and Dolly Parton. Her debut single, "Little River Girl," recorded at Kasey Chambers Rabbit Hole Recording Studio, captured attention at live gigs and on radio. Saralyn has performed alongside Grant Walmsley of The Screaming Jets and Amber Lawrence and attended the prestigious SHE songwriting retreat with Lyn Bowtell and Max Jackson.
In 2024, Saralyn was selected as a finalist for the Gympie Music Muster and will be the support act for Jake Davey & Chelsea Berman’s Acoustic Tour. Her single "White Butterfly" soared to #2 on the Amrap charts and earned high rotation on ABC Country and CMT Australia.
With accolades like reaching the semi-finals of the Songwriting Prize in 2023 and 2024, and placing in the top 10 of the 2021 ASA Songwriting Competition, Saralyn’s talent continues to shine. After winning the 2024 Gympie Music Muster Mother Tone Talent Search, she’s set to take the international stage in Nashville.
Currently, Saralyn is working on her debut EP, collaborating with producer Rhys Zacher at Spinlight Studios and receiving PR and label backing from Rock This Country Public Relations.
