ANGELS ONLY X KINGS CROSS HOTEL - LIFE DRAWING CLASSES

When: Every Wednesday starting 2nd April - 7.30pm-9pm

Cost: $20 - for our first classes - we will be increasing this in the coming weeks with an effort to still keep it accessible -  

Focus of class:  engaging with a creative project for 1.5hrs each week, and doing something wholesome, challenging and invigorating for the mind.

Classes run by Hannah Roberts, a local artist from the innerwest, working in the creative sector who holds a Bachelor of Arts in Painting from the National Art School, as well as Cert IV in design fundamentals and drawing. The class will be a welcoming place for community to meet, connect and enter into a calm and engaging space to explore their creativity.

Class Structure: Hannah will run through an introduction to life drawing, some examples and a rough overview of how the class will work - giving the option for those who are more confident to guide themselves if they would like. The class structure will be similar to any other life drawing class. Starting with a number of 30 second poses, then one and two minute poses, some mid length poses of 15 minutes, then either one long pose or two longer poses.There will be a break in between for both the model and attendees, and a time to share work and see the results at the end. Option for attendees to bring their own dry materials, as well as Angels Only providing different options, with an additional cost - paid on the night (Paper, clioboard, graphite and charcoal, conte, crayon etc)
