Anne of Green Gables
Description
Our Year 7 to 10 eP!C Youth Co. cast, crew and creative team warmly invite you to experience our awe-inspiring production of Anne of Green Gables; a fresh, vibrant reimagining of the beloved classic by L. M. Montgomery.
Step into the charming town of Avonlea and follow the journey of Anne Shirley; the imaginative, intelligent, endlessly talkative, and wonderfully spirited, red-headed orphan. When Anne is unexpectedly adopted by Marilla and Matthew Cuthbert, she turns their world upside down in the most heartwarming way.
As her journey unfolds, she finds true, kindred friendship with the beautiful Diana Barry; rivalry (and perhaps something more!) with the charismatic Gilbert Blythe; and she slowly wins over the entire town of remarkable characters, with her fierce individuality and boundless imagination.
This production of Anne of Green Gables will be bursting with warmth, humour, heart, and creativity, blending the timeless story with a contemporary theatrical twist through dynamic hybrid genres of music, choreography, puppetry and stunning costuming.
This show, appropriate for audiences of all ages, will be filled with laughter, emotion, friendship, belonging, and unforgettable moments on stage.
Bring your ‘bosom’ friend along and enjoy the show!
