    Event description

Victoria’s Marine National Parks and Sanctuaries were created 20 years ago. To celebrate we would like you to join The Victorian National Parks Association's marine scientists to explore our marine park seascapes on the doorsteps of Melbourne.

We are inviting experienced snorkelers to join us in exploring these fascinating seascapes, where you will also meet and hear from marine park stewards that have been working over the years to care for them.

Join us to experience the marine wonders of Jawbone Marine Sanctuary or Ricketts Point Marine Sanctuary:

•Jawbone Marine Sanctuary – connect with the colourful sponges, nudibranchs and fish of this sanctuary in Williamstown.

•Ricketts Point Marine Sanctuary, Beaumaris - explore the seagrass meadows, sandstone reefs and sea caves of this well-loved sanctuary in Beaumaris.
