Annual Gathering of Minds

Gender-based violence is a complex problem. We know we're a small part of the solution and our mission will be reached faster with friends. That's where you come in. 

A stuffy, closed door Annual General Meeting just doesn't feel like us. Instead, we envision a gathering of minds working toward a world without gender-based violence. We’re advocates seeking advocates to build a movement and to shape the world we deserve. 

Everything we do is open sourced and our AGM (Annual Gathering of Minds) is no exception. We invite you do come look under the hood at our last 12 months of operations and where we're trying to go. We hope you'll come along for the journey with us.

Not just that, since this is a gathering of humans and organisations tackling gender-based violence this will be an opportunity to meaningfully connect to others in our community. We're running discussions to help you be emotionally resourced for the 16 days of activism (against GBV), as well as bodily resourced with a non-contact trauma-informed kickboxing class.

About the venue

Shadowboxer have been in our corner since our Fight Back Project days. Their HQ has all-gender toilets and is located up a flight of stairs. If you don't mind a short walk, street parking is available. Better yet, take the train!
