NCWNZ - Conference & AGM 2024

This is the chance for us all to meet face to face and celebrate the work that is being done by NCWNZ! 

This year, our conference is being held in person, hosted by the Ōtautahi Christchurch branch. This one day event will be held on Saturday 5 October starting at 9am. For our conference, we welcome all NCWNZ members across the motu – as well as anyone who is interested in hearing from organisations who support women and girls in Aotearoa.

We are pleased to announce that the Hon Nicola Grigg, Minister for Women, will be giving the opening address at the conference. 

Other sessions will feature local organisations from Waitaha Canterbury, who are working to support women and girls. In the afternoon session, NCWNZ Action Hub convenors and members will also provide information about their mahi and explore new ideas with conference attendees 

The NCWNZ AGM will be held in person and online from 12.45–2.45pm.  

Our celebration dinner in the evening will include presentations of Distinguished Service Awards, farewells to outgoing Board members and welcoming newly elected Board members. For more detailed information, the event programme is available for download.  

We are really looking forward to seeing many of you at this conference for a long overdue get together.
